Ella Has her Eyes Set on Tokyo Paralympics

I would like to share my story about my friend Ella Azura Pardy.

Ella is a 29 year old Paralympian who has competed in so many events all across the world! Ella lives with Autism and Cerebral Palsy but she never lets challenges stop her. From an early age, Ella loved all sports, participating in horse riding, basketball, swimming, ice skating and tennis, before she decided to focus on her athletics, specialising in 100 and 200m sprints.

Since then she has won many awards such as a bronze medal in the Rio Paralympics and has competed alongside Usain Bolt at Nitro Athletics in 2015, two Commonwealth Games, 3 Para Athletics World Championships. Now, she has her eyes set on the Tokyo Paralympics this year .

Recently, Ella has started to pursue her passion for helping others by volunteering with organizations such as the RSPCA, and has even started doing some sport modeling. She is keen to become an ambassador for people with disabilities and to inspire people to be the best they can be.

Ella follows the words of Nelson Mandela, “It always seems impossible until it’s done!
